Workin' on a Saturday

Tim Horton's for breakfast... sausage sandwich, chocolate glazed donut and hot chocolate! Don't want to think about that anymore. But it was goood. I need to have more control on the drive to work so I don't stop anywhere for breakfast!

We're having lunch from the new restaurant next door today. I think I'm getting chicken strips because none of the salads sound good, and they're always too big anyways.

I haven't put up a starting weight yet... I will soon. Probably on the 1st to make it nice and easy. I'll also list my debt out, but my budget will have to wait a few days until I talk with the boss about my 2008 salary.

**Updated to add-
The chicken strips were horrid and the fries were even worse. Probably not eating there again. I'll stick with the little sports bar across the street! Oh, and I had a chocolate chip cookie this morning to tide me over since boss was taking forever with his client and ordering lunch was nowhere in sight.

Magic Bullet - the blender!

I made chicken quesadillas for H1 tonight and they were a big hit! I blended the velveeta and fajita chicken longer than I should have, but it was good for her because she didn't know there was meat in it then. She's had an issue with texture lately and has turned extremely picky on me. But I sauteed? the mixture between two tortillas with some butter spray, and cut it with a pizza cutter. She ate the entire thing. Success!

Then after she went to bed I made a yummy chocolate milkshake. I love it!
So right now I'm eating chocolate covered caramel corn.

But I'm drinking a water... that's good, right?

Good eating starts... tomorrow!

Welcome

I've decided to start this blog at the beginning of 2008 to journal my struggles and successes with
  1. losing weight
  2. getting my family to eat right
  3. eliminate my debt so I can purchase a home in 2009
It's not going to be easy, but it has to be done. So! Stay tuned for hopefully frequent posts, on everything from my debt and budget to my kids and what we eat for dinner. It should be interesting!
